This whole thing is making me ready to just write paper ads again and put them in public places. Even if I write a $10 date ad. Meet me in physical location X, if you have any problems reaching me by email. I promise that you will not be rejected for a simple date and nothing more.
This morning I was driving home after shopping. My window was open. I got onto the highway and a truck pulled up beside me. Suddenly BANG! A noise loud as a gunshot came from one of those exhaust pipes that looks like a horn on top of the truck. It went directly into my left ear and I couldn't hear very well for a few minutes afterwards. The truck was directly beside me when it happened.
