Rejection is contagious

Extremely contagious. I saw both rejector and rejectee in my own behavior. When I get rejected I then reject others, sometimes dozens of people. We do unto others as others have done unto us. It happens quickly. Anytime Curtis treated me as low status, I then treated others as low status immediately afterwards.
